Senior Clinical Trial Co-Ordinator Grade 7

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual with good communication and interpersonal skills to provide trial co-ordination and project management support. You will have a leading role in the set-up of clinical studies, obtaining regulatory and ethics approvals, site initiations and the co-ordination of clinical trials, assisting with grant applications and writing publications and the management and supervision of clinical trial/research staff. You will ensure that all clinical trial/research activity is ICH Good Clinical Practice compliant and conducted in accordance with the agreed protocol to prioritise research activity as necessary, ensuring recruitment targets are met. You will work closely with Chief Investigators (CIs), the trials unit staff, Principal Investigators (PIs) and research practitioners to ensure successful set-up, initiation and completion of studies. You may also assist in the co-ordination of other studies within the LCTU trials portfolio. You should have a degree (or equivalent qualification or relevant professional experience) in a relevant subject area, experience of clinical trials and excellent computer skills. The post is available for 12 months.
