We are offering an exciting opportunity for a highly skilled and motivated Chief Data Governance professional looking for a new challenge in the higher education sector. As the Chief Data Governance Officer you will lead the development and ongoing maintenance of a comprehensive data governance and security framework.
With excellent communication skills you will have the ability to interact with stakeholders at all levels to skilfully influence outcomes, negotiate solutions and explain complex concepts in simple language. You will be experienced in effectively delivering multiple projects and familiar with managing and proactively resolving governance issues.
Working in the Office of the Vice-Chancellor, you will have significant experience of information governance; possess excellent time management, prioritisation and problem solving skills. You will have a sound knowledge of information governance standards and experience of working in an information governance environment.
Ideally you will hold professional qualifications related to information security standards or equivalent experience and have held a similar role previously.
This post is available for 2 years on a fixed term contract.
