We are seeking to appoint a Professor in OB who is recognised internationally as a leader in their field to contribute to the articulation and realisation of the School’s research ambition.

AACSB accredited and with its full-time MBA ranked in the Economist top 100, ULMS sits in the top 5% of business schools globally. It has 150 academic staff who enjoy a strongly collegial, research-supportive and intellectually vibrant interdisciplinary environment well-connected with industry and the professions, the School is well positioned to enhance its national and international standing as it moves into its next phase of development, giving particular emphasis to developing the reach of its world-class research activity.

Positioned as it is in the Georgian quarter of Liverpool, the School benefits not only from investment in state of the art facilities, but also from its location in a city which combines strong cultural activity, excellent transport links and regional beauty. Student numbers, calibre and satisfaction are high with a strong PhD cohort. The School is ambitious to continue to build its research capacity at the highest international levels. The Professor in OB will have particular responsibility for supporting the development of the research ethos in the School and the development of early career researchers.

Salary will be internationally competitive, commensurate with the appointee’s accomplishment and potential.
