We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic Lecturer/Senior Lecturer to contribute to the provision of high quality teaching and research within the Institute of Health Professions. You will teach across a range of pre-registration nursing courses at both Bachelors and Masters Level. The role will include maintenance of high academic standards and enhancement of the student experience, development of the faculty’s portfolio of courses, linking with relevant external partners and the generation of external income for the University.
You will be educated to a minimum of a Master’s degree level, ideally have completed or be working towards Doctoral level study and will be currently registered in the UK with the NMC as RN (Adult Field). Experience of healthcare provision at an appropriate level within the adult field of nursing and an understanding of healthcare policy both locally and nationally are essential. You will have a commitment to engaging with the clinical practice environment and maintain up to date knowledge and skills relevant to the field of Adult nursing practice, in order to deliver a dynamic, responsive curriculum. With dedication to innovation within your Nursing teaching and research, you will contribute towards the portfolio of nursing and the profile of the Faculty.
