- Lecturer B: starting at £39,324 and rising to £46,924 per annum

The School of Engineering and Informatics wishes to appoint a Lecturer in Mechanical Engineering to join the School’s Dynamics, Control and Vehicle Research Group (DCVR). The Group is internationally known for its high quality automotive research and fundamental work in dynamics and control.
The School would welcome applications from candidates whose research interests lie in areas related to the technology needed to significantly improve conventional and hybrid vehicle propulsion efficiencies and emissions, particularly focused on improved combustion engine technologies, vehicle energy recovery systems, vehicle control, and vehicle communication technologies. We are seeking an individual who can strengthen the internationally leading research activities of the Dynamics, Control and Vehicle Research Group.
The successful applicant will be expected to teach at undergraduate and postgraduate level in areas such as engine technology, vehicle technology, automotive power systems or electromechanics. The successful applicant will be supported with an appropriate start-up package to help them establish their independent research portfolio.
