Learning Technologist

This is a Full Time Position – 100 % full time equivalent

The Faculty of Life Sciences & Medicine seeks to appoint a fixed term Learning Technologist (maternity cover) to be part of the team providing expertise in technology-enhanced learning (TEL) and  supporting and leading in the development of online content development to support the new Medical Curriculum. You will be responsible for the scheduling and development of blended learning, teaching resources and VLE (Moodle) support to facilitate the delivery of the undergraduate medical programme in different clinical settings and in the community.

You should have a degree relevant to e-learning/computer science or a related field (or equivalent relevant work experience). You will have a proven ability in providing eLearning and TEL support, with particular emphasis on the development and delivery of online learning development, especially incorporating a range of media solutions in your development process, excellent organisational skills, delivering academic staff development within this area and a track record of utilising TEL to support education within a higher education context.

The selection process will include a presentation and a panel interview

Interviews are scheduled to be held in December 2016
