Database Coordinator

Cardiff University - Division of Psychological Medicine and Clinical Neuroscience, School of Medicine

A position is available for a Database Coordinator to provide database support, advice and guidance to the National Institute of Health funded programme grant, Psychiatric Genomics Consortium.

The successful candidate will have a degree or equivalent in Biology or related discipline and experience of implementing pipelines for mode genomic datasets.

This post is full time (35 hours per week), available immediately and fixed-term for 3 years.

Salary: £26,052 - £30,175 per annum (Grade 5). A maximum starting salary of £28,452 per annum (Point 26) applies to this post.

Cardiff University is currently undertaking a pre-employment checking pilot scheme across limited areas of the institution. Under this pilot scheme, this post has been identified as being subject to the following pre-employment checks: 

  • Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS)
