Principal Analyst - UCD Medical Bureau of Road Safety

Applications are invited for the role of Principal Analyst within the UCD Medical Bureau of Road Safety.

The Medical Bureau of Road Safety (MBRS) is a statutory, independent and National scientific agency dedicated to provide a high quality national forensic service in intoxicant detection in support of the effective operation of the Road Traffic legislation in the Republic of Ireland.

The Principal Analyst will be responsible for the day to day operation and management of a scientific programme within the Medical Bureau of Road Safety. They will be responsible for the supply and testing of instruments and devices used by An Garda Síochána for intoxicant testing and will manage a scientific programme involved in intoxicant analysis to include breath testing. 

This is a senior management position in the Medical Bureau of Road Safety.

Appointment will be made on scale and in accordance with the Department of Finance guidelines.
