Senior Lecturer in Coaching and Leadership, 1.0FTE
University of Cumbria - Department of Nursing, Health and Professional Practice
|Placed on:||25th November 2016|
|Closes:||7th December 2016|
Based at campuses in and around the Lake District and with a recent addition in London, the multi-award winning University of Cumbria is a wonderful blend of old and new, founded on a rich educational history with institutions dating back more than 150 years.
This is a time of great development for the university, which was recently ranked second nationally for graduate employability (Destination of Leavers from Higher Education (DLHE) survey 2015, published July 2016).
On the cusp of our 10th anniversary, we have a fast growing research reputation, increasing profile and place alongside national and international employers as well as multi-million-pound campus investments and exciting ambitions for the future.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a highly motivated team in the development, organisation and delivery of high quality academic provision. In particular, the post- holder will take a lead role in the management and delivery of The Institute of Leadership and Management (ILM) Coaching and Mentoring programs, including Level 7 and Level 5 Coaching and Mentoring. The post holder will also contribute to the delivery of our range of NHS closed cohorts (in particular those which have a management & leadership focus).
We are growing our Institute of Leadership and Management provision, working across a variety of health care and other related sectors; this is an area of increased growth with the opportunity to extend the provision of professional qualifications offered by the university.
This range of ILM programmes attracts students from a range of professions and organisations and the post-holder will be required to develop positive working relationships with NHS Trusts, the armed forces and other employers and organisations in order to move this important work forward.
We are seeking innovative, creative, high quality researchers, and scholars to foster a culture of exploration, discovery and intellectual challenge that generates international recognition, respect and engagement.
