Music Technician and Instructor/Supervisor

Salary will depend on skills and experience. Salary progression beyond this scale is subject to performance.

Applications are invited for the above post, based in the Department of Music. The successful candidate will have expertise in the use and maintenance of music technology equipment and in providing technical support to staff and students. They will have had experience of assisting students in their learning through practical studio-based workshops and/or success in teaching small groups in accordance with specified learning outcomes.

They will also be expected to assist with supporting other areas of the music curriculum, e.g. with microphone and speaker arrays, and to undertake general administrative duties as required.

This permanent part-time post (29-hours per week, to include occasional evening and weekend work) is available from 9 January 2017 and is open to job share.
