The Department of Economics at Royal Holloway, University of London is looking to appoint 2 new external examiners to help oversee the undergraduate examination process.
Your role & responsibilities include:
- confirming the comparability of standards of student performance with those of similar modules at other UK Institutions of Higher Education;
- confirming that the assessment process as far as practicable, is fair and operated equitably. This involvement will be in the following: draft examination papers and moderation
- Reporting and advising on the above by means of approving coursework and examination papers and providing an annual report to the University.

Appointees are expected to be able to attend a sub-board meeting on campus in June. Remuneration is dependent on number of courses and students assigned.
