Senior Public Health Researcher

Fixed term until 31st July 2017 in the first instance

The Public Health Institute is seeking to appoint a highly motivated individual to initiate, develop, implement and manage public health research projects focusing on violence, alcohol and nightlife health, in partnership with researchers across LJMU and externally. Working with the Reader in Behavioural Epidemiology, the post holder will be responsible for supporting existing international and European research projects and undertaking day-to-day management of research projects and staff. A key part of the role will be developing and managing relationships with external stakeholders at a local, national and international level, including initiating and/or supporting the development of research bids. The post will involve some travel to project areas (including across Europe), therefore the ability and willingness to travel is essential.
