The University of Salford is a vibrant organisation with an ambitious direction of travel. Well known for forging partnerships across industry, Salford is now extending and deepening these relationships with the development of a number of degree apprenticeships in response to growing demand from industry partners. With support from HEFCE, the University is seeking to recruit high calibre individuals with appropriate skills and expertise to assist in the growth of its degree apprenticeship portfolio.

Reporting to the Head of Quality and Enhancement, the role holder will contribute to the development of degree apprenticeships across the University as part of the University’s HEFCE funded degree apprenticeship project. The post holder’s specialist focus will be technology-enhanced learning and the engagement and development of staff in the effective use of technology and related pedagogies to improve the learning experience for students undertaking degree apprenticeships.

The post holder will have excellent interpersonal, networking and communication skills, the ability to engage academic and professional services staff at every level of the University, and engage with industry partners and other stakeholders. The ability to build and maintain complex relationships with various stakeholders with differing requirements is also required.
