The External Funding Unit currently operates a Fund Management model to deliver a number of extensive European Social Fund (ESF) projects. These are sub contracted through a network of sub contractors across the North of England
Calderdale College has recently been awarded a number of contracts for the delivery of ESF funded projects across the country. As such, the External Funding Unit is now seeking to expand on its core team and increase capacity with the recruitment to a number of positions. New team members will assist in securing new sources of funding and delivering projects that support the Colleges strategic plan. Individuals will be flexible and innovative and have an excellent attitude towards supporting our sub contractor supply chain and maximising the delivery of contracts.

This role will change throughout a project life cycle and as the cycles overlap the role will need to be effective at managing multiple and conflicting deadlines. Key activities will include assisting in co-ordinating document exchange at all stages of the contracting process – this will range from Expressions of Interest, Pre Contracting Due Diligence, sending out Contracts and Contract Variations and ensuring a timely return of signed documents.
A key success of this role will be timely, accurate, co-ordinated and efficient processing of large volumes of documentation along with the successful management of working relationships both internally and externally to maximise performance across the Unit.
