We are ambitious about providing an outstanding, personalised experience for our students and partners - meeting their needs and the needs of the economy and society at large. To be able to achieve this ambition, we need to have excellent market intelligence and insight so we can make good decisions about the University’s strategy, the programmes we offer and the markets we target.
We have created a new role, the Head of Data and Insight, to significantly improve our market insight to support our national and global reputation as an outstanding provider of values-driven teaching and research excellence.
This new role will provide a comprehensive data analysis service, generating insights to enhance decision-making within the University. In particular, the post holder will work closely with the Senior Management Team and others to support the delivery of strategic objectives relating to marketing and recruitment and an enhanced position in league tables, the Teaching Excellence Framework and the National Student Survey.
You will have experience in data analysis and manipulation having worked in market research, coding, policy, strategy or similar roles. You will have the ability to generate sound strategic recommendations based on the insights you gather which will support the decisions of the Senior Management Team and other colleagues across the University. You will be equally happy getting stuck into detailed issues as you are the strategic ones.
One of our core values is ‘individuals matter’. As an employee at the University of Winchester, we are committed to your wellbeing and development. You will have access to a wide range of benefits and support including complimentary access to the GetActive initiative, comprehensive staff development programme, generous holiday entitlement and pension scheme.
