Lecturer/Senior Lecturer in Physiotherapy - Clinical Placement Co-ordinator

There is an exciting opportunity to become part of a new development in physiotherapy within the Institute of Health Professions in this wide, multi-disciplinary faculty. Work is already on track to deliver a new pre-registration physiotherapy course in 2016/2017.

Joining the Institute of Health Professions you will contribute to research informed learning and teaching at pre and post-registration level within a well-established inter-professional academic team.

The postholder will be registered as a Physiotherapist with the HCPC, possess a higher relevant degree, or be working towards such a qualification, and have significant experience in a physiotherapy role. Experience of teaching in an academic or clinical setting is also essential and candidates with a research profile are welcomed. Experience as a neurological, cardiovascular or respiratory physiotherapy would be advantageous.

The postholder will have experience of delivering teaching in a higher education institution. Experience of module leadership will be an advantage. The postholder will have excellent communication skills and will be expected to work with a range of organisations to develop physiotherapy placements and will support the development and delivery of our new Physiotherapy curriculum.

An enhanced DBS check (formerly CRB) will be required.
