A post has become available to support the Head of Department’s research programmes in cardiovascular epidemiology and clinical trials.
The post will focus on delivering the Chronic Kidney Disease subtheme in the Head of Department’s BRC research programme, but there will be opportunities to support and develop initiatives in other areas of research.
You will have a PhD in a subject area relevant to applied research (or equivalent experience evidenced by a solid publication record); with sufficient specialist knowledge in the discipline to develop research projects and methodologies. With a strong background in research including experience of clinical epidemiology or clinical trials, you will be able to manage research projects to meet deadlines and have strong quantitative and qualitative research skills and a high level of numeracy and writing skills.
The post is available full-time, fixed-term for 2 years in the first instance.
