The suitable candidate will plan and manage recruitment and testing activities for both behavioural and MRI studies within the context of the research project and the Principal Investigator’s guidelines and instructions. S/he will also collect and critically analyse research data using quantitative techniques, report on data analysis, interpret findings and write research reports, disseminating these through conference presentations and published papers.
This post is available as soon as possible after the application deadline, and is funded until 31/12/2018 in the first instance.
The post holder will hold a PhD in Psychology or Cognitive Neuroscience.
The suitable candidate will have experience with behavioural and neuroimaging methods, especially structural Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) and Voxel Based Morphometry (VBM) and related data analyses. S/he will also have experience of writing reports/papers, working with children and/or the elderly population and a sound knowledge of Microsoft Office, statistical and programming tools, in particular Matlab, E-Prime and Python.
