University of Salford Disability & Learner Support Service are looking for a motivated individual to support disabled students and promote our Inclusive Strategy.
Our services are required to be flexible and student-centred. You will be joining our team at a key time within the sector which is currently going through some exciting changes in order to ensure we offer our students an inclusive student experience.
To fill this role, you will need to be a great communicator and listener, and enjoy working with people from a wide range of backgrounds. You’ll be able to make decisions and work independently. You’ll obviously be committed to the highest quality of customer service, and you’ll be able to demonstrate an understanding of the social model and inclusive practise, as well as having empathy with the needs of a large, diverse and international student community. Familiarity with relevant disability equality legislation and codes of practice will be vital to this role.
