The University of Salford are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Researcher Development Coordinator to support the research and career development of postgraduate research (PGR) students, post-doctoral researchers and staff, working with academic colleagues and the University’s Organisational Development Team to support PGR and researcher career and leadership development at all levels.

The role-holder will be expected to have familiarity with the training and development requirements of PGR students and early career researchers, experience developing, coordinating and delivering training & development programmes and knowledge of appropriate frameworks and related organisations (e.g. Vitae, Leadership Foundation for Higher Education).

The role holder should have experience working closely with academic and professional service colleagues at all levels, and to create an excellent relationship with our PGR student community. The role holder will review, plan, manage and evaluate the delivery of the highly successful Salford Postgraduate Annual Research Conference (SPARC) activity, contributing to the programme as appropriate.
