Can you ensure Bristol students have the best possible university experience?
Bristol Students’ Union is a membership organisation democratically led by students and supported by a team of staff. We have an ambitious new strategy which seeks to build students’ pride in their union while ensuring they are well represented, that they have opportunities to develop, and that they have a great social life while they are in Bristol.
Bristol SU is looking for an enthusiastic individual to join us for a period of 12 months to provide maternity cover for our current Student Opportunities Coordinator.
In this role you will lead, develop and deliver Bristol SU’s individual development opportunities as part of a diverse and flexible offering, create and lead effective training and support for students taking part in these opportunities, and lead Bristol SU’s approach to enabling students to articulate their skills and experience gained through this activity and how this contributes to their personal and professional growth.
You will have experience of volunteer management, of leading a team, and managing a busy and varied workload. You’ll also have a good understanding of the student movement and how student development adds value to the student experience.
We will consider applications for flexible working and job share opportunities.
