Full Time (9am to 5pm)
The University of Surrey is looking for a self-motivated and adaptable individual who will provide front line reception and administrative support to the Centre for Wellbeing team, ensuring a confidential and professional service is provided to both students and staff accessing the service.
The Centre for Wellbeing has a dedicated team of counsellors and nurses supporting, advising and advocating for student's and staff’s health and wellbeing.
The post holder will be responsible for administering support systems, following clear procedures and protocols. The workload will be variable and often demanding, regularly dealing with stressful and complex queries. Working with a high level of accuracy, ensuring client records are kept up to date and that confidentiality is maintained at all times is an essential aspect of this role. The ideal applicant will have strong communication skills, and excellent administrative skills, experience with Microsoft office, and excel are essential.
The ideal candidate will have experience of working within the Higher Education sector or a counselling service environment. (Preferred but not essential)
