The project: There is a PhD position available for 3.5 years starting October 2017 in the CVD Diamond Group in the School of Chemistry, University of Bristol to study “Deposition of CVD diamond directly onto GaN substrates for use as a heat spreader in high-power electronic devices”. The PhD is funded by an EPRSC DTA award, and the student will be supervised by Professor Paul May.
