£36,179 to £41,560; SL £42,759 to £49,160 (Inclusive of Outer London Weighting)

The Department of Psychology in the Faculty of Science and Technology, Middlesex University, London, delivers high quality teaching, research and consultancy across several subdisciplines including the psychology of health, clinical health, forensics, cognitive, neuroscience etc. We are particularly interested in candidates with Qualitative methodology skills and a Counselling or Clinical background, but would consider any area of psychology for the best candidate.

We are a large and ambitious department and are seeking to appoint a new academic colleague with specialist knowledge to contribute to teaching and research. This appointment may be made at Lecturer or Senior Lecturer level, depending on qualifications and experience. Applicants will have an independent or developing research programme in a field related or complementary to existing strengths with the department. Applicants will be able to contribute to our teaching portfolio and have the ability to engage students and to motivate them to perform at their best. As in any academic position, the role will also involve the administrative duties associated with a busy academic and research-active environment.
