Part Time Post: 9.5 hours per week
As the second largest provider of specialist creative arts education in Europe, the University for the Creative Arts is seeking to appoint an International Admissions Advisor. The post holder will provide a vital service to support the University in meeting its recruitment targets across all FE, UG and PGT courses. With increasing competition to convert students, you will work as part of the admissions team to deliver an efficient, fair, proactive and customer focused service, both to applicants and internal stakeholders.
You will be responsible for supporting the efficient operation of international admissions procedures for international applications in accordance with University processes, policies and service level agreements. You will give accurate and up to date advice to applicants and their advisors on courses offered, along with all aspects of entry procedures. You will also ensure that all admissions procedures are followed correctly and efficiently, and that internal and external deadlines are met.
With excellent interpersonal skills and an eye for detail, you will have previous international admissions administrative experience and will be a team player who is used to building and maintaining effective working relationships. Your highly organised and methodical approach will be matched with an excellent range of IT skills. Experience of working within the Higher Education international admissions environment would be advantageous, as would knowledge of the SITS student record database.
The International Admissions Advisor role is a new role, and there will be flexibility in how the 9.50 hours per week are worked, providing it is within the period of 09:00-17.15, Monday to Friday, and in agreement with the International Admissions Manager.
The pro rata salary for this position will be £5,725 - £6,438 per annum.
