Business Manager within the School of Security Studies

In response to several years' sustained growth and planned further expansion the Faculty of Social Science and Public Policy has been through a process of organisational change with the recent establishment of five academic schools. A review of Professional Services staffing has concluded, creating a number of new posts. We now wish to appoint experienced, motivated and high-calibre candidates to the position of Business Manager to the School of Security Studies.

A review of Professional Services staffing has concluded, creating a number of new posts. We now wish to appoint experienced, motivated and high-calibre candidates to the position of Business Manager to the School of Management and Business. 

The Business Manager will fulfil a broad portfolio, managing the financial and human resource functions of the School, as well as acting as Health & Safety Officer and managing space requirements. Candidates should have experience of managing budgets, administrative processes and contracts as well as line management/supervisory experience. 

This post is based in Shrivenham, Wiltshire.

The selection process will include competency based questions and a panel interview.
