Research Associate in Organic Thermoelectrics

The post of Research Associate is in the field of organic thermoelectrics and will involve investigating the fundamental thermoelectric and heat-to-electricity conversion properties of organic semiconductors and the device physics of thermoelectric generators based on these materials. It will involve a close collaboration with other research teams in Cambridge and collaborating universities developing advanced materials for energy conversion and storage. The post is based in the group of Prof. Henning Sirringhaus at the Cavendish Laboratory.

Candidates should have a PhD in physics, materials science, chemistry or a related field with research experience in thermoelectric materials and measurements. The position is available from 1 February 2017 and is for 24 months.
