The Department is seeking to appoint a two year fixed term Lecturer in Pharmaceutics, specifically working in topical drug delivery and toxicology. Applicants must have a minimum of a good honours degree in pharmacy, chemistry, pharmaceutical sciences or other related scientific discipline and either have or expect to obtain in a short timescale a PhD in a relevant topic. The post holder will contribute to the research and teaching activities of the Department. Applicants should have expertise in the broad area of the pharmaceutical sciences and knowledge and experience of topical/mucosal drug delivery or toxicology. We are particularly interested in individuals with research experience in particle engineering and analysis, inhaled product characterisation and/or pulmonary biopharmaceutics. Individuals with experience of working in either academia or the pharmaceutical industry are encouraged to apply.
