Working in a small team this varied and challenging role will give you responsibility for providing day-to-day support across all areas of HR activity, including recruitment, induction, reward and day to day HR information and support to line managers and employees.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is looking to establish a career in Human Resources with appropriate training and development provided. You will have significant administration experience and experience at HR Administrator level, with a strong customer focus. An enquiring mind and the possession of excellent administrative, communication and IT skills are essential, as are organisational skills and strong attention to detail. You should have the ability to prioritise and manage a high volume of work.
You will have experience of interpreting employment policy and providing advice on policy application in different scenarios, along with practical experience of note taking at meetings. You will be proactive in identifying and implementing administration and process improvements and a professional outlook capable of applying diplomacy and tact when dealing with sensitive issues.
The Clinical Sciences Centre is an Institute of the Medical Research Council based at the Hammersmith Campus with close links to Hammersmith Hospitals NHS Trust and Imperial College London; we employ 300 scientists and other professionals who are researching key questions underpinning human health and disease. Working closely with scientific colleagues, the HR Group aims to recruit and retain the best staff in support of their work.
