Student Services & Administration is seeking a motivated individual to join the Faculty of Health and Medical Sciences Student Services Team. With the University having been awarded the The Times/ Sunday Times University of the Year Award for 2016, the post represents an excellent opportunity for those wishing to develop a career in Higher Education at one of the UK's top Universities.

You will work closely with your Line Manager, and academic and administrative staff across the Faculty and central University services, in order to deliver a high quality and efficient service to students and staff.

Working in Faculty Student Services will mean you providing excellent and timely advice to students and staff, undergraduates and postgraduates alike.

Day to day you would be handling student and staff enquiries, maintaining accurate student and module information, and supporting academic staff in the organisation of programmes in the School, but also across others at key times of the year.

The successful candidate will therefore need to be able to demonstrate a strong customer focus and understanding of what students and staff need, computing skills (in particular databases), with the ability to work to a high level of accuracy. The role will require excellent interpersonal with an ability to communicate clearly in person and in writing. You will need to be adaptable to different situations and should be well organised and methodical in your approach. Relevant administrative and student facing experience would be a distinct advantage.
