The Department of Maritime and Mechanical Engineering at the Faculty of Engineering and Technology, Liverpool John Moores University is seeking to appoint a Lecturer or Senior Lecturer with a PhD degree and specialism in the area of mechatronic engineering.
You should be able to demonstrate research strength in autonomous systems (aircraft, vehicles etc.), and have a commitment to multi-disciplinary collaborative research. You will hold a PhD in mechatronics or a similar discipline. Duties will include developing and maintaining an active and internationally recognised research program, teaching at the undergraduate and graduate levels, and advising graduate and undergraduate students.
You must have excellent communication skills and commitment to both teaching and research and will be expected to apply for CEng status within 3-years of joining the University.
