Part-time Teaching Fellow in Ancient Greek and Latin (Non-Fixed Term)
The Department of Classics and Ancient History is seeking to appoint a suitably qualified candidate to a part-time - 30% FTE, non-fixed-term teaching fellowship in Latin Literature from 01 September 2017.
The successful applicant will contribute to research-led teaching of Latin and Greek, usually at Beginners Level but should have the ability, depending on Departmental need, to teach also at Intermediate, Advanced, and Higher level. The successful candidate should have research interests in Greek and/or Latin literature
- To keep abreast of research in the field of Greek and/or Latin literature.
- To contribute to the research-led teaching of Greek and Latin, especially ab initio.
- To act as examiner for the modules taught.
- To engage in continuing professional development.
