Within the Faculty of Health and Social Sciences (FHSS), the Department of Human Science and Public Health aspires to this vision, working closely with clinical partners in the fields of practice and research to support professional learning and educate health professionals of the future to provide high quality compassionate care.
We are seeking a Lecturer who is committed to excellence in practice, teaching and research. You will be based in the Department of Human Science and Public Health and within the Sports Therapy Team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to help us develop this programme which is due to start in 2017. In addition, you would work collaboratively within Bournemouth University and with external partners in developing an excellent student experience and research outputs relevant to Sports Therapy. The Department is committed to supporting and developing its staff in order to pursue high quality research, teaching and practice.
You will be qualified to Doctorate level or be able to demonstrate the ability to create and disseminate knowledge at an equivalent level and have the ability to convert this knowledge into a doctorate in the first 3-5 years from the date of appointment. You will be research active and committed to a culture of academic excellence and continuous improvement.
There will be opportunities for personal development and engagement with colleaues across the Faculty and University to take forward the research, professional practice and education agenda.
