Project Manager

We are looking to recruit an experienced project manager for the duration of 9 months to join the Post Award team in the Research Office. This team supports the management of complex research grants through the project lifecycle working closely with the Principal Investigator to ensure compliance with funder regulations and delivery of agreed tasks. This team also work closely with finance to manage the project budget. 

The successful applicant will have project management experience and be able to demonstrate the ability to work to deadlines within budget, time and scope constraints. An understanding of research grant management would be beneficial, or the ability to demonstrate a proven track record of understanding complex regulations and guidelines. You need to have excellent communication skills and be able to work with conflicting priorities as well as the ability to build strong relationships with both internal and external partners and collaborators.

Internal applicants wishing to undertake the role as a secondment will need approval from their line manager.
