We are seeking to appoint an experienced administrator to work within the Department of Disease Control. The post holder will be responsible for providing financial and administrative support to a large number of overseas projects and project staff based in the UK and overseas in Africa
The ideal candidate will have experience of managing research grants, preferably gained in a Higher Education environment. The successful applicant will be expected to have excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and good verbal and written communication skills in English and French.
The post is funded for 12 months commencing as soon as possible and is currently funded until to 30th September 2017. Salary is on the Professional Support Pathway Grade 4 from £28,270 to £32,158 (inclusive of London Weighting). The remuneration package includes annual leave of 30 days per annum. In addition to this there are discretionary “Director’s Days”. Membership of the USS Pension Scheme is available.
