The appointment will be on UCL Grade Professorial. The salary range will be The salary range will be negotiable on the professorial scale but not less than £67,885 per annum, inclusive of London Allowance.

The UCL School of Pharmacy is one of the most highly rated pharmacy schools worldwide and has a long tradition of expert contribution to healthcare practice and policy.

The new Chair in Pharmacy Education will develop and lead our educational strategy in the topics relating to practice and clinical pharmacy, with a view to contributing to our involvement in the New Giza University project as well as developing our strategy for postgraduate and undergraduate course provision and interaction with stakeholders. In addition, the successful applicant will help us develop our research portfolio in the area of practice and education research, particular interacting with both other health care areas in UCL (medicine and dentistry in particular) and with the Institute of Education.

The key requirement of the post is the ability to develop innovative and modern clinical and practice education approaches at both postgraduate and undergraduate level. The post holder will also be expected to assume a senior management position within the School and to contribute to the development of health care activities within UCL.

The appointment will be full time for an initial 5 year period on the UCL Professorial grade.
