The successful candidate for the post will join a small but enthusiastic team of staff responsible for undergraduate courses in Sociology in the Faculty of Heath and Society, and will play a significant role in contributing to course delivery and curriculum development. S/he will take responsibility for the development and management of individual modules and will have a role in the leadership of the Sociology programmes. The successful applicant will be part of the core team responsible for the planning, development and delivery of new course and curriculum developments in Sociology and related areas such as Race, Gender, Research Methods (Qualitative & Quantitative).
Candidates for the post will hold a PhD in Sociology and have a record of published research in National and International Journals, as well as monographs and/or text books(s) in Sociology. Candidates should ideally be available for immediate employment.
