This post is being advertised at Grade 6 or Grade 7, with the expectation that the successful applicant will be appointed at Grade 6 in the first instance.
Salary for this grade: £25,298 - £28,301 per annum (£30,175 - £38,183 per annum for Grade 7). Potential to progress to £32,004 per annum (£41,709 per annum for Grade 7) through sustained exceptional contribution.
If the successful applicant demonstrates an ability to carry out the additional duties and responsibilities and provides evidence in their application that they meet both the essential and desirable criteria in the person specification, then exceptionally, the successful applicant will be appointed at Grade 7.

Our Library staff play a major role in delivering a world-class study environment for University students, staff, and the general public. We aim to deliver a consistently high standard of services across our 5 Library sites: the Western Bank Library, the Diamond, the Information Commons and the two sites of the Health Sciences Library.
The Library’s Faculty Engagement Team ensures that the libraries services are in line with staff and student requirements and ensures efficient usage of library resources for the benefit of our academic community as a leading research library.
