The School of Architecture is part of the Faculty of Arts, Design and Humanities located in the new Vijay Patel Building which is at the heart of our campus. The School offers a CIAT Accredited course in the BSc (Hons) in Architectural Technology and a professional suite of RIBA validated and ARB prescribed courses in the BA (Hons) in Architecture, MArch, and PG Dip in Architectural Practice. The School is expanding our academic team in key strategic areas to meet our growth needs.
We are inviting applications for a part-time Senior Lectureship in Architectural Technology with specialism in construction materials and technology and their applications in architectural projects.
We are seeking to recruit an enthusiastic and a talented candidate who would deliver a range of UG and PG topics in the field of Architectural Technology. The candidate should be a member of CIAT professional body and familiar with CIAT criteria for validation. The candidate must contribute to the specialist teaching in Architectural Technology programmes and help develop partners with industry to support these programmes. You should demonstrate potential for executing an agenda of research with deliverable outcomes within the School’s Architecture Research Group. Additional responsibilities will include serving on various School, Faculty, and University committees.
