Administrative Assistant

University of Bristol - Development and Alumni Relations Office

The Development and Alumni Relations Office is looking to recruit an Administrative Assistant to deliver administrative and secretarial support to the PA and Office Manager and across the Development and Alumni Relations Office (DARO), particularly in relation to the alumni relations and fundraising activities of the Office. With strong customer service and administrative skills, you will have some experience in an office or office/reception environment in a supporting role (administration, reception, secretarial etc). You will have the ability to produce accurate work to deadlines with attention to detail, and a working knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite of applications, email, web and general office systems including databases.

With excellent interpersonal skills, you will be able to communicate effectively and professionally with all levels of staff both within DARO and in other parts of the University, and with people from a variety of backgrounds. You will have achieved a GCSE or vocational experience acquired through a combination of job related vocational training and broad on-the-job training.
