Academics within the College’s Learning and Teaching Enhancement Centre (LTEC) are responsible for identifying and driving strategic activities to enhance the learning and teaching provision. These currently include areas such as Technology Enhanced Learning, Blended Learning, the College assessment strategy and student retention and progression (http://www.swansea.ac.uk/engineering/ltec/).
For this position, the College is seeking someone who to deliver high quality teaching and enhance the learning experience within the Chemical Engineering Portfolio.
You should be in a position to teach any of the cognate subjects within our Chemical Engineering undergraduate curriculum, and may contribute to MSc programme development.
You will be expected to closely work with other academics within the University to develop, deliver and disseminate innovations in learning and teaching. This may include but is not limited to: blended and flipped learning, problem-based learning, technology-enhanced learning and authentic assessment.
You must have a first degree in chemical engineering with relevant teaching experience in chemical engineering design projects. In addition, you should have, or be working towards, chartered status.
