At Hertfordshire Business School, the Business Analysis and Statistics subject group is heavily involved in teaching, research, consultancy and administration. The group run the MSc Business Analysis and Consultancy programme and additionally teach 40 UG and PG modules across a range of UG and PG programmes.
Three members of the group are readers, eight members of the group hold doctorates and another is currently undertaking a doctoral programme and there are 15 doctoral students supervised by members of the group.
The Statistical Services and Consultancy Unit sits within the group and many individuals engage in consultancy work.

The post offers an excellent opportunity for someone to make an active contribution to teaching, research, and business development activities. The successful candidates will have interests in Business Analytics that complement or overlap with those of current members of the group. They will be able to teach at undergraduate and postgraduate levels and are encouraged to conduct rigorous academic research and engage with external organisations. Applicants are also required to have a doctoral qualification in an appropriate subject for senior lecturer posts or to be in the process of completing one for lecturer posts.
