Permanent, full-time (35 hours).
This is an exciting opportunity to join the Department of Art, Science and Humanities at Bradford. The successful applicant will have a degree in sociology or a sociology related subject, with experience of successful teaching in either the FE sector or in schools. You will be expected to teach sociology across the curriculum in the Sixth Form Centre. You should therefore have experience of teaching sociology to 16-18 year old students.
You will be expected to carry out associated administration, as well as undertaking curriculum development as required. You may also be expected to take on a course leader role with its associated responsibilities.
Excellent communication, team working, and IT skills are essential, and applicants should be working towards a recognised teaching qualification if they do not already possess one.
