We are seeking a full-time Postdoctoral Research Assistant in Nanosystem design to join Microelectronics Circuits and Systems research group at the Department of Engineering Science in central Oxford. The post is funded by EPSRC and is fixed-term to 22 November 2017 initially.
You will be responsible for developing a new Nanosystem design philosophy adapted from the CMOS VLSI approach ‘one foundry, several designs, several products, low cost’. You will develop suitable design rules and process development kits for Nanosystems working with a University based foundry. You will also work with another research assistant to simulate, layout, fabricate and test a chip with an array of structures.
You should possess a doctorate in Electronics Engineering or a relevant field with experience of digital design or design engineering. You must have the organisational skills and initiative to manage own academic research and associated activities. You should have the written and verbal skills necessary to present scientific ideas clearly at meetings and for publication.
