The Royal College of Emergency Medicine

The Royal College of Emergency Medicine was established in 2008 by Royal Charter as a charitable body, and is responsible for training and academic standards of the specialty as well as professional matters for Emergency Medicine doctors in the UK.  

The successful candidate will be experienced in ePortfolio administration with the ability to develop functionality for users and College purposes.  Responsibilities include answering enquiries from a wide variety of users and providing help-desk support. 

The role also includes supporting the College’s Curriculum sub-committee, as it develops the Emergency Medicine curriculum, and implementing corresponding changes to the ePortfolio.  

Experience of working with databases is essential. Ideally he/she will have some experience of postgraduate medical education but a background in other educational organisations would also be an advantage. This evolving role in a busy Training team is currently that of a Grade 5 officer.
