The Associate Director (Student Support Services) is a key role for the University and is the post responsible for the leadership, development, resourcing and management of the Student Support Services department which encompasses: the Accommodation Office; Student Advice & Wellbeing (including Counselling, Wellbeing, Chaplaincy and the Student Centre) and Inclusion & Learning Support (including Disability Services).
This role is an opportunity for an experienced student services professional to lead the enhancement of the student experience through the delivery of exemplary service provision.
The role holder will ensure that the student support offer contributes to a high quality student experience and that it is designed and resourced to be proactive and responsive to evolving student demand. The role holder will be expected to drive forward new ways of engaging our students and will be responsible for delivering aspects of a number of institutional strategies including the Student Experience and Engagement Strategy and action plans including the Student Mental Health and Wellbeing Action Plan.
With demonstrable experience of managing student facing services and significant experience of providing support to students you will develop and lead a professional and respected team at Goldsmiths.
