Part Time Lecturer of Arts Managment

The Institute for Creative and Cultural Entrepreneurship (ICCE) at Goldsmiths, University of London wishes to appoint an interdisciplinary scholar, as a part time 0.5fte Lecturer in Arts Management, to teach on and support the growth of the undergraduate programme, with a specific focus on supporting the professional practice and placement aspects of the BA (Hons) in Arts Management. The candidate will be able to facilitate individual and group-based professional practice placements and mentor students taking placement-based professional practice modules in the second and final year.

The successful candidate will have a MA, or possibly a PhD (or equivalent), and a track record of connections to and/or working arts and cultural organisations in London. The candidate’s academic specialty will be relevant to ICCE’s interdisciplinary areas in arts management and/or cultural and creative industries. (Disciplinary background may be from arts administration, creative industries, sociology, economics, politics, anthropology, cultural policy, geography, business or management studies, arts practice or other related areas). The candidate may have published in peer-reviewed journals, and conducted or be interested in conducting funded research and scholarship that demonstrates impact. The candidate will show the enthusiasm and skills to teach arts management modules across all levels of the undergraduate programme.
