Job Description
The vacancy is positioned at the Department of Marketing within Aalto University’s School of Business. The Marketing Department’s research efforts particularly focus, but are not limited, on areas such as Consumer Culture Theory, Strategic Marketing, Service Marketing and Retailing. Research and teaching experience connecting to one of the mentioned core areas will be seen as an advantage. Teaching assignments encompass undergraduate, graduate, and Ph.D. programs. At any level of the academic tenure track system, a candidate is expected to perform world‐class research, to teach, to supervise and otherwise advance both doctoral and undergraduate education, to be an active member of the international scientific community, and to exhibit academic leadership. The applicant is expected to have a doctoral degree in a relevant discipline and to have a fluent command of English. The applicants will be reviewed on the basis of their research, teaching and academic leadership, and activity in the scientific community. Experience in acquiring funding for research projects and co-operation with industry and research institutions will be considered as an advantage.

Aalto University follows the salary system of Finnish universities, but applicants may also provide salary requests.
