Lecturer in Children’s Nursing and Healthcare

The University of West London is a leading modern university specialising in the education and development of exceptional creative, business and service professionals.

We are looking for a dynamic, innovative person to join our team of academics, to deliver nursing, healthcare and international courses. The course(s) sit within College of Nursing, Midwifery and Healthcare.

The academic team, together with the support of administrative and technical staff, deliver the programme to students across our London and Reading campuses. Applicants will be required to maintain strong links with practitioners in West London and Berkshire, supporting and enhancing placement learning.

The successful candidates will have strong knowledge in their specialist areas of children’s nursing and healthcare. Candidates should demonstrate effective interpersonal and communication skills to work collaboratively with students, other academics and with our support and technical staff. They will be expected to develop and deliver learning material that is relevant, evidence-based and current, in order to maintain the high quality of learning and teaching associated with the college.
