Assistant Administrator

University of Hertfordshire - Academic Registry, Collaborative Partnerships Unit

FTE: Full time position, working 37 hours per week (1.0 FTE)

We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated team member to support a full range of administrative activities relating to programmes of study with UK and overseas partner colleges.  You will be part of a busy and friendly administrative team within our central Academic Registry that manages the student record through enrolment to graduation, working with academic and administrative staff across the University and at partner colleges.  

You will have experience of working in an office environment, be able to carry out physical tasks and to use initiative in seeing an activity through from start to finish.  In support of a varied and interesting work schedule, you will need to demonstrate strong attention to detail and good organisational and interpersonal skills.

Qualifications:

  • Essential: Educated with 5 GCSEs, including mathematics and English, or equivalent, or proven professional work experience.
  • Desirable: Educated to A-level standard or equivalent, or proven professional work experience.
